Top 10 Tips For Enjoying The Summer and Staying Fit

Here are my top 10 tips for staying fit and having fun this summer:
Swim, swim, swim take the kids out to the pool or the beaches and bring your weights and workout on the beach. Bring a Frisbee, volleyball and get out and have fun. Trust me it will work up a workout and burn those calories.
Picnic and walk. Take the kids or you and your spouse, or gal pals out for a picnic. Pack up yummy healthy snacks and fruits and go for the walk after you eat. Better yet make it a hike!
Go canoeing or paddle boating. My son loves this and we recently went out on the waters. It was a great workout and a lot of fun.
Take your dog for a run he or she needs it just as much as you do.
Bike riding with the family.
Take advantage of some fun fitness classes on the beach, or book one for you and your gal pals.
Take a vacation and make sure to do every single activity possible that involves you moving!
Take advantage of the great fruits offered during the summer. Create creative dishes that are easy and low fat. Get the family involved. Or get your friends involved.
While at work take your lunch hour to eat a healthy meal and get errands done that involve you walking and moving.
