Tools for Meeting your "Fit Mama" goals

Today on my LIVE webisode of One Fit Mama over on MomTV I talked about setting goals and I promised I'd share a list of some of my favorite fitness tools.

Here they are (in no particular order)

Jillian Michaels - 30 Day Shred
This was the first JM DVD I tried and I keep going back to it.
There are 3 different workouts on this one DVD (lots of bang for your buck).


Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30
This is my other favorite JM DVD.  But, I don't care what she says- the workouts are longer than 20 minutes.  I think she says "2 minutes of cardio" and then just kicks your butt as long as she wants to.

I may or may not have cried during a Ripped in 30 workout.


Jillian Michaels: 6 Week Six-Pack
I'm adding this one to the list because it's different from the other two.  This workout focuses on core work and cardio.  There are 2 workouts- each about 30 minutes. And yes, she'll try to kill you with this one too.


Sara Ivanhoe's Yoga Body Makeover Series
Great series of 20 minute yoga workouts for beginning yogis & yoginis!

My dear husband bought these for me for Christmas.  I have resisted shelling out the bucks for Yurbuds despite all of the rave reviews I have read.

Let me now add my voice to the rave reviews- these suckers really do stay in your ears!


Gymboss CAMO SOFTCOAT
I use my Gymboss for running intervals, cardio intervals at home and also to time my cooking.  I can't believe how useful this little gadget is.  Once I even set it for 10 mins and clipped it onto Mandy's belt.  I told her she had to clean up her room until the Gymboss beeped!
