Todays Workout- Shoulders, Glutes, and a walk with Lacoste

So, this morning did not go so smoothly. It started with my alarm not going off. Luckily, I only woke up about 10 minutes later than I should have. I rushed out the door to try to get to the gym in enough time to get my full workout in. As I was driving the 5 mile drive, that should only really take 10 minutes, I kept looking at the clock and after 30 minutes of only driving 2 miles I decided to turn back around. If I wanted any kind of workout this morning I knew I couldn’t waste my time in this stopped traffic. Once I got back home I headed down to the basement where I have a weight bench and tons of free weights. (Thanks to my wonderful parents!) Having that in the house comes in handy! Here is my workout:

After I did the planned workout, I had about 10 extra minutes, so I took my sweet pup on a brisk walk. The weather is AMAZING! 60 degrees! It is weird I am even typing that because I am normally a hot weather kind of girl. I think I am just ready for a change. Lacoste really enjoyed the walk.

Since the weather has a little chill in the air, you know I had to eat my oatmeal! I added an apricot too. Yum!

What started out as a bad morning, turned into the start of a great day!
