Todays Workout- Jumping Jacks Circuit

I am still not use to working on Mondays, but I need to make up for some days I had off. I had to be at the salon by 9 this morning so I figured I would sleep and get my workout in this afternoon. I was planning on doing some weights in my basement and going for a run outside for my cardio. Unfortunately, it has looked like this all day long.

Pouring rain all day. I just wasn’t up for going on a run in that. Instead, I decided on a circuit workout. I was able to get my heart rate up while doing my weight training. It worked out fantastic. I started with 60 jumping jacks and alternating with the sets in the Lower Body and Ab Workout . After each set I would then do another 60 jumping jacks.I ended with 60 jumping jacks as well. The workout took me a total of 40 minutes and it flew by. Just the way I like it.

It really felt good to burn some calories. I have to admit, this past weekend I think I ate and drank way too much. I wasn’t thinking about calories at all, and now I am feeling it. Blake and I are going to kind of do a 3 week challenge to get rid of the extra couple pounds we have put on recently. I have got to stay focused. No baking for me this week. :)
