Frozen banana, spinach, almond milk, chocolate protein powder, and a little cocoa extract.
This week I’m trying to be better about my runs so I can start training for races I have yet to sign up for. Last weeks workouts were pretty much non-existent so I’m trying to be better this week. I ran on Friday before meeting up with friends for dinner and a movie and my knee was not happy. It’s probably a better idea to not wait 3 week before trying to run 5-6 miles at once. Whoops!
But besides a bum knee I had a great weekend full of spa treatments. In class that is. We’ve been learning more about the more advanced treatments like microdermabrasion, microcurrent, and yesterday we did lash and brow tinting*. I have been waiting for lash tinting since we started. I have blond lashes and tinting is one thing that I think most everyone should try and you will never have to spend extra time in the morning to get ready. It’s such a great way to make your eyes POP!
Since I had spent all weekend getting advanced treatments and tinting I came home and made a “spa” type dinner for me and Travis.
Salad with roasted sweet potato
Raosted Poblano and Corn chowder
I really love sweet potato on salad and if you’ve not tried it yet I highly recommend it. Neither one of us were very hungry so this was just enough to end a fabulous weekend.
*Stay tuned Thursday for more info on tinting and my before and after.
