This past weekend was crazy busy, but all good busy. I got to celebrate a good friend's birthday and saw Potted Potter (which I highly recommend even if you haven't read the series). Friday and Saturday days were filled with preparation for Friendsgiving, which was a huge success and a good trial run for Christmas dinner (I'm cooking and hosting for my first time as a Brennan!). The husband and I saw Les Miserables and it was so beautiful to both the eyes and ears. It was perfect timing to see it as the movie version comes out soon
More on Friendsgiving to come :-)
Workout plans for the upcoming holiday week (don't let it derail your fitness) Sunday: 7 mile run (check!) Monday: Hot Vinyasa Yoga Tuesday: Teach Bootcamp Wednesday: Strength and Cardio session, lots of plyometrics Thursday: 5 mile Run and Pilates (teach the FAM) Friday: Take mom's water aerobics class Saturday: OFF Sunday: 7 mile run
As the holiday approaches see if you can plan workouts with your friends and family and make that a part of your Thanksgiving routine. Maybe you sign up for a turkey-trot, get the family outside to play home run derby (I hope this happens), go for a family walk, or try a new class somewhere or while you are out of town do something you can't do in your hometown. Exercising with someone is a great form of motivation, stress relief, and bonding.
