Although I could not be with my Mom today, she is always in my thoughts and heart.
She is so much more than just a mother.
She is my best friend, the person I look to for support, advice, compassion, care and love.
She does everything and anything for the people she loves in her life. They can be minor or major- it does not matter because she goes above and beyond in all of the best areas of life.
Mom is there for me whenever I can. She has helped me survive the worst of times and helped me to understand that there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to keep chugging along.
I call her each and every day from school, often several times per day. Even if I have nothing in particular to talk about, I just like hearing her voice and know she is there. Sometimes I just need to talk to her, so she can help me see the positive side of a situation that remains hidden to me or offers advice and words of encouragement.
She is an inspiring, hard working nurse who helps bring life into the world in the labor and delivery department.
My mom is a strong, smart, loving, amazing woman who has been through a whole bunch of hardships herself, yet has defeated and overcome those overwhelming struggles.
