12/18/12 Sweaty Results:
Run: 3 miles + Strength was my goal and I ran for 31ish minutes which equals around 3.5 miles for me. Yoga was my strength!
12/19/12 Sweaty Results:
Run: 8 x 400 at 5K pace (8 min/mile) was my goal and it happened on the treadmill to keep me honest.

That's right! I've been absent on AHL the past week because:
Brett finally popped the question Sunday evening. We're very excited to continue our journey through this crazy wonderful life together. More to come on the "how he did it" story.
Mauka and Willis are thrilled. How this picture actually happened I will never know.
It's absolutely perfect.
Although I'm not 100% better I'm running again (duh, you already read that). My 13.1 in February is going to be a fun run for me since I missed two weeks of training. It's SO hard for me to switch gears and just have fun with a race but I don't want to injure myself in training. Most level headed sane people would say, "Well, just dial down your training. You can still train at 100% and hope for a PR."
I am not a level headed sane person. The voice inside my head says, "You missed two weeks of training. You need to run faster, make yourself puke you're training so hard, and you absolutely for NO reason whatsoever (deathbed included) can miss another training run."
Totally normal talk.
In other news, I'm still engaged!! I have my sparkly ring on my finger as I type.
I love love and I love running and I love yoga and I love this new GF oatmeal called NoNuttin my lover found for me. LOVE!!
