Hi guys!
I hope everyone’s life has been going alright and their weekend was relaxing. It is back to the daily grind of the work/school/reality week. surprisingly my weekend was decently tame and I needed for that to happen SOOO badly.
I ran 13 miles on SATURDAY and it felt AMAZING. Now if only I could do that all the time things would be great. My mother and I hit the farmers market afterwards. We walked around and enjoyed some beautiful weather. I am destined to live in Florida, I know it, I just need the will-power to pick up my things and move once I graduate. I hit the books for a few hours to catch up on the past 3 weekends I missed.
It is crazy to me how running suppresses the appetite so much. I was not hungry at all on Saturday and basically had to make myself eat because I knew my body needed the fuel. Then, nighttime came plans were messy and I became STARVING and had NO food. I was not able to eat until 8:00 but did justice by having tons of pasta, pizza, and salad. YUM. I did grab a few photos of my food from the weekend and the pa
st week to share with you. I hope you enjoy the scenery. I am going to focus on TONS of color these next two weeks because I want to be as healthy as possible for my race.
This week on my agenda:
Abnormal Psychology Test ( I need to STUDY my BUM off) no joke
Obesity research paper (Try to complete)
Begin note cards and study for Behavioral medicine
Submit my paper on eating disorders
Improve spanish grade by fun visit to my professor 30 mins before class every Tues. & Thurs. and an extra credit assignment on Wed.
Run miles
Apply for a Job I found
Good Luck everyone on the rest of the week.
Interesting Fact on Topics I’m learning right now:
Obesity accounts for 300,000 deaths each year in the United States.
Food industries spend approx. 26 billion dollars on ads annually and many focus toward children!
Type 2 D is now diagnosed in about 20% of the US children ~ WoW
