I want to share a video that I saw a few months back. It has everything a good PSA needs: entertaining graphics, sound message, and Jason Mraz (vegan, raw-foodist, avocado farmer and musician extraordinaire). Honestly, this is one of the best videos to promote change I’ve seen in a while.
As folks are actively working on their New Year’s resolutions (and have probably already rejected some) to lose weight, eat healthier, exercise more, sleep more, watch less TV, etc., I highly encourage you to shift your focus on to small changes that will help you reach your long term goals, such as minimizing added sugar in your diet. Sugar, like salt, is a taste that we become accustomed too. Reducing sugar intake can initially be quite challenging, but after the first few days – and with lot’s of healthy fruits and vegetables in your diet, you’ll find that you’re no longer crazing indulgent sweets, but instead craving healthier foods. And healthier foods = happier you.
