Have you noticed how many advertisements today revolve around fast food and pharmaceutical drugs? Every commercial break features at least one drug encouraging viewers to discuss a prescription with their physician. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are constantly bombarded with subliminal messages. Unfortunately, the best marketing schemes are often created by wealthy companies designed to make their products extremely appealing, while having one interest in mind: their bottom dollar.
The Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) is an organization who promotes life giving messages to consumers. In my opinion, we need more Ads, like the following, to help enlighten the public rather than seek profits from products that contribute to ill health.
