So, it is being said that near point stress, or staring at a close object for long periods of time, can be one of the biggest reason for eye problems today. Just think of it as being in a forest, like above, and after a while, your eyes are just looking at the same thing for long periods of time. Even without blinking, which makes it worse.
Your eyes need to be able to focus at an object far away every now and then. Think of it as being the mountain, like in the picture below. Throughout the day, keep looking at something far away, and focus on that. When you are walking, look around you, near and far! Up and down. Move your eyes, use your eyes.
