Last night Tony and I headed to dinner with our friends Jamie and Allison.
We were originally going to try out a different restaurant, but the wait was too long, so we headed to a Virginia Highlands favorite, The Family Dog .
I was expecting typical bar food, but was pleasantly surprised when I took a look at their menu.
Tony and I split the Broccoli & Tillamook Cheddar Dip as our appetizer and I got the cheeseburger for my meal. They both were awesome, although I only ate 1/2 my burger because I was full. It was definitely an indulgent night, but a fun one as well.
It had been waaaay too long since we hung out with my favorite little family.
I mean, when was the last time you saw a picture of Sloane ? Isn’t she huge (and adorable!)? She was also very social and wanted to chat with the people behind us, apparently we were boring her.
She is such a ham. Love her to pieces!
After dinner we headed home. Tony had to be up early today and head into work, so we didn’t stay up too late last night. In fact, I am 90% sure that I fell asleep on the couch before 10pm. That was kind of my plan since I wanted to go to the gym early this morning for their first BodyPump class. When I put on my shoes this morning my right foot was hurting, so I took off my shoe to take a look and I noticed something
A huge bruise! Wowza! I may or may not have tried to do gymnastics off the couch last night and smashed my foot onto the table. Oops. I took that as a sign I needed to have a cup of coffee and lay on the couch and eat a yogurt (my favorite flavor).
Luckily there is a 3:30 BP class that I am planning on attending. Injured foot and all.
PS – sorry for all the istagram pics (you can follow me at brookewhit). I forgot my memory card so all I had was my iphone.
