It's never too late for a first time. This is my first time blogging, and yesterday was my first ever day of my clinical medical years. Many changes, many new beginnings, and I hope to make the most of all of these new opportunities.
I've never been much of a writer, sure I kept the odd diary when I was younger - "I bought a new diary today and it is pretty and pink and I am going to write in it every day of grade 6" (first, and last, entry in my pretty pink diary)... but recently I have been reading a lot of blogs and I have drawn a lot of inspiration from them. Rather than being some pathetic gossipy/emotional piece of writing, I've found blogs that have educated me and motivated me to live my life a little differently - a little better.
Do in order to keep track of my change of lifestyle, and to hopefully encourage me to continue living this way, I've decided a blog might just be the key. Or at least give me some way of recording my first year of clinical school.
This is me in a nutshell-
- 3rd year medical student
- Australian
- Health and fitness nut
- Farm girl
- Active
- A little shy
- Madly in LOVE with my wonderful boyfriend of almost 1 year : Ashley
I have always loved health and the human body, but recently have discovered a few individuals, followed by facebook groups and blogs, that have prompted me to look a little further into body sculpting, eating 'clean', and having a positive attitude. & I absolutely love it! I feel like I've found my niche in life - I'm not saying I find it easy, or that I do it perfectly, but I definitely enjoy it!
So here I'm going to post my favourite recipes, motivational sayings, as well as my everyday plans, as this will not only help me keep on track, but may also help others to transform their lives and be a bit happier and healthier :)
Juggling fulltime medicine with cooking and eating clean, as well as exercising regularly is going to be a challenge, but I'm determined to make it work!! Bare with me :)
