Yesterday, I gave you all a peek into my college days and promised a healthy, tasty gift to send to your favorite college goer, or anyone really. This idea came to me when I was searching for something fun to send my sister Alyssa who is currently a sophomore at Quinnipiac and found the ultimate college care package. Of course, you can always make homemade goodies, but if you are short on time or a mess in the kitchen, here are some fun ideas.
“Cheese-y Quackers and Spicy Cashews, perfect for late night study fuel, Chocolate Chip Cookies and Blonde Macaroons, for a sweet tooth, and Cinnamon Crispies and a Honey Bunches Grawola bar for a quick and healthy breakfast.” The package also includes a stainless steel BPA-free One Lucky Duck Water Bottle and a One Lucky Duck navy blue tote bag. It’s the bees’ knees! It’s a little pricey at $85, but that’s a 15% discount from buying the goodies individually.
Want to put together your own? Here are some of my other favorite easy-to-send goodies:
If an oven is available, Purely Elizabeth has amazing muffin, pancake and now cookie mixes. I recommend the samplers . Pure, natural and delicious, it will save any student from those nasty muffins in the dining hall
These cookies are outrageous! My favorite are the Butterscotch Pecan. I like to stick them in the freezer or warm them in the microwave.
A delicious nut butter mix, I’m obsessed with I recommend Justin’s Nut Butter.Seriously, whoever Justin is, I want to kiss him – they are that good. They have lots of varieties, including easy to carry to class individual packs. My favorite is the maple almond butter.
