Thanksgiving 5K challenge, Sweet Potatoes and a great Mani

Posted Nov 21 2012 12:49pm
So I really really want to do this 5k blog challenge tomorrow: A Journey to Thin.

I found the link over at Lori’s Blog and it referred me to the link above. I tried to get my sister to join me but she claims will be going to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow morning. I am not one to be surrounded by crowds and I hate standing around in the cold so I took a pass on that (although it supposed to be nice tomorrow).

Nonetheless, I will make my attempts to wake up early enough to complete the challenge and enjoy the rest of my Thanksgiving Day. So glad we have the day off tomorrow! I have so much to be thankful for this year so more on that on tomorrows post.

For now, I leave you with my breakfast from this morning.

And my yummy dinner from last night:
Got home late from class so had to prep something quick. I put together this delicious mix of yummy shrimp and veggies plus a couple mini potatoes w/ lil’ seasoning. Yummy. And this was dinner on Monday night. I am also falling in love with sweet potatoes again:
*+ eggs with organic ketchup from Trader Joes. Oh! And I got a much needed Manicure on Sunday (color was borrowed from another customer at the nail salon and I loved it):
Shout out to the BF whom gets to spend thanksgiving in the Caribbean with family. I’ll be munching on a turkey leg while you enjoy a piña colada. Cheers to that! :)  …back to work I go.  Are you joining any turkey-day or any holiday fitness challenges? Please Share!
