However, I was impressed when I tasted the teas. I received 3 flavors: Unsweetened Green Tea, Unsweetened Jasmine Green Tea, and Half and Half (Green Tea with Lemonade). The nutrition information for the green and jasmine green teas stated that they pretty much contained water, tea, and vitamin C. I like that natural tea flavor, so my favorite was actually the Unsweetened Green Tea. But I can see where some folks wouldn't like it as much because it contains no sweetness.
This is where the Half and Half comes in. It is green tea with some lemonade flavor. Where the unsweetened teas have no calories though, this one has about 100 calories per bottle. It is not bad and the flavor was really great, but in order to stay low in calories, I'd rather drink the other 2 flavors.
Here is the list of ingredients in the Half and Half. If you know about the rule of ingredients in the US, where most companies list them in order of quantity, this means there may be more sugar in this than there is tea or lemon juice. This is not a certain prediction, but it leans that way.
What is my result? You already know I think tea is fabulous, and I do think Teas' Tea teas taste great. They are also natural and lower in calories than sodas and other juices. My advice would be to definitely try them, but make it a habit to stick to the lower calorie, more natural, unsweetened options. If you absolutely cannot, then the sweetened version is not a bad fallback as it still low in calories.
