I recall telling my father, that if he didn’t stop smoking, he would get lung cancer. I was serious as a heart attack when I told him my concern. I thought this would encourage him to stop smoking, but it didn’t.
My father didn’t take what I was saying seriously. His response to me was “Gotta die with something.” Well, I couldn’t argue with that and I left it alone. Years later, my father died from stomach cancer and I couldn’t do anything to help him.
Today, my passion is sharing information that help others make healthy lifestyle changes. More importantly, you “ain’t gotta die with something.”
