Snow days are amazing! I swear I get just as excited as my kids when we have a snow day. The unexpected day off during the work week gets me excited to not only stay home and spend extra time with my kids, but to cook too. I decided to replenish my supply of meatballs in the freezer. Good thing I did because when I pulled up the recipe from our site, I was horrified when I saw the picture! Let’s just say you could totally tell it was one of my first recipe posts. That was it-challenge accepted. Not only was I going to make a double batch, but I was going to retake the picture for the blog.
Since starting this blog with Dani last summer, I’ve been slowly learning how to use “the big” camera and how to take better pictures. The “big camera” in our house is our Cannon digital SLR that we got when The Dude was a baby. I lovingly refer to it as “the big camera” because well, it’s big, expensive, and I have been a bit apprehensive of using it because I didn’t really know how (hello manual mode).
After spending some time learning what all the letters on the dial stood for, I can tell that I already take better pictures. And you know what….it’s kinda fun! So here is an update of a freezer staple in my house. Check out the picture-not too shabby, huh?!
Paleo meatballs the whole family will love!
I know just looking at this picture is making you want to make them this week, so here is the link to the recipe and my original post. I hope you like them
