It's always a pleasure doing the things that make you happy, and this is one of them. Everyday I consult people on how to live a healthier, sustainable and more positive life. As a naturopath I have a unique perspective on life. I sum it up as part psychologist, part friend, and of course part natural therapist. I also love to write, research and have a creative streak so starting a blog is a natural progression into sharing what I learn everyday or at the very least, to help you stay motivated with your health.
Natural health is my thing and it always has been, so I've studied different modalities because of my passion but also because I know how unique we all are. My approach to people and health combines East and West... acupuncture, naturopathy, nutrition and herbal medicine. I consider myself a very forgiving naturopath, in the sense that I understand we are human and part of our life journey is to make human mistakes... be that eat chocolate with good friends or stay up too late on weekends. I believe in moderation but I also believe sometimes we need to see things from a different place to know where we really want to go.
You can expect to get a bit of everything from this blog. Somedays I might write about nutrition or a particular food and somedays I might reflect on wellbeing and how to achieve a greater sense of it through ancient methods. I'll be posting tips on healthy living, some research and recipes to yoga, herbs and a touch of personal insight and more.
I believe most people know where they want to be but need assistance in making the change. One day we'll all get there and to me it's what we learn along the way that matters; how much did we grow? In the end life's a journey into yourself...
