Last Friday I had a PLANK PARTY and I wanted to highlight one of Christy’s plank exercises that she linked. Here is her animated picture of how to do it. She is pretty hard core & this one is a gooder! [For more plank exercises – check these out!]
HOW TO: “plank, then bring leg up outside body, tuck knee under body and finally cross it under the body. Tell me you can't feel the burn. To make it harder instead of putting foot on ground in between extend it straight back.”
Now for the SQUAT PARTY.
We all know the basic regular squat, which is a really good exercise in and of itself; keep your back straight, don’t let your knees go past your toes, etc – feel your thighs & butt burn!
One variation that I’ve recently really liked doing is the deep sumo squat with a jump [ here ]:
