Spirit of Pittsburgh Half-Marathon and 2 Person Relay

I just signed up for the Spirit of Pittsburgh Half Marathon. Its a smaller marathon in October. I personally like the time of year because unlike the Pittsburgh marathon you have all summer to train on cement, in the month of may its difficult to get the feel of pavement because most people run on the treadmill. I’m thinking about doing the great race also to get the fresh feel of racing. When i finished the Pittsburgh marathon i had a problem with my IT band, it was getting so tight it started to burn. So i started going to a chiropractor and his adjustments helped alot, im also going to yoga classes more often. Now i feel alot better *knock on wood lol* and im seeing amazing results in my running mechanics. I now know what to expect after the Pittsburgh marathon and know of a good training method and a nice, safe place to run. I’m also more familiar with the “runners nutrition” than when i signed up for the Pittsburgh marathon, No fiber before running! Lol. Ill post more about the race when it gets closer, Its still pretty far away, but it’ll get here before you know it!
