speed & hill running. love it

Ran 5 miles today, on the dang treadmill again. It was a speed day and I ran it in 38:30 (7:42 min pace). I started my pace at 6.6 mph and progressively (and randomly) increased my speed until I was at 9.0 mph. It was pretty fun. I wish every day could be a speed day. Not really, at all. But I did enjoy todays run A LOT.

Another training run I really like are HILLS. When my man runs on the treadmill, he always has it at a huge incline. The other day I went in the room (the treadmill is in our bedroom) and he had that sucker cranked to a 10% incline and he was RUNNING! That is impressive. I usually only go as high at 7% and die. But when I’m outside, I have a favorite route and it includes a mile long hill at a pretty good incline and then another shorter hill right after it. Definitely love the hills (most of the time)
