You know, it really doesn’t take all that much to make me a happy camper.
Exercise-induced endorphins and whole healthy foods pretty much always do the trick. But sometimes it’s the simple things that make me smile.
I can’t help but smile when I receive a rose from my baby for Mother’s Day! He also surprised me with a super cute beach bag filled with bath and body works goodies + a cute coffee mug filled with chocolate!
Contrary to popular [er, Adam’s] belief, I am not made of money. However, I certainly wouldn’t mind if I was – anyone know how to make that happen?
Of course, opening a fresh jar of almond butter is always a treat.
I finally bought a hibiscus tree after admiring them for the past few summers—hello, tropical flowers.
Do I live in the tropics? Absolutely not. But with this little plant, it’s much easier for me to pretend that I do. And hey, the 90 degree weather helps too.
90 degrees + tropical flowers? Don’t be shocked if you find me sipping a pina colada in my swimsuit on the front stoop.
My thumb is unfortunately not that green [it may even be black] – but this summer, I’m determined to keep my plants beautiful and thriving!
Georgie’s curiosity always catches my attention. He watches me intently while I water my plants in the morning [P.S. please excuse the pajamas].
New playlists never fail to give me an extra boost of motivation. A good workout is inevitable when you’ve got some good new tunes in your ears.
May Music <3
I’ve had number 2 on repeat since I’m going to see Cake in concert this weekend!
I finally found a dress for graduation! Thank goodness since it’s tomorrow afternoon!
In fact, I found TWO dresses that I like! Which one should I go with?

I’m leaning towards the coral dress [the back is criss-cross which I love] – but I like the strapless dress as well! A second [or third, or fourth opinion] never hurt!
Starbucks iced coffee with a shot of coconut + soy milk! Summer in a cup, anyone?
You’ll be seeing this little drink a lot over the next few months – it’s my new favorite!
What’s your current source of happiness—simple or elaborate?
