Sorry Everyone  Interesting facts about stress :

Posted Nov 04 2009 10:07pm

Good afternoon friends,

To be completely honest I needed a break from   in general for a while so I did not blog last night nor did I have the motivation to do it this morning. The news I found out took my world for a complete spin and I didn’t realize it would affect me that bad but not to totally dump it on bad news I was also in severe stomach pain, and was lacking sleep. I had a really hard time getting through work last night and my boss let me go home early because he said I looked upset and that I needed to rest haha. Go-figure.

Breakfast today was boring here you go: Egg white, half laughing cow wedge, Arnold thin and some fruit :)P1010473

Anyways on to today, I went for a 4 mile run this morning ( didn’t run fast because I thought my ovaries were going to jump out of my skin) and then went to study at a beautiful place called city center. It was such a beautiful day at and reminded me to stay in a good mood. I read another chapter about stress for a different class and realized my cholesterol may be high due to the fact I am constantly stressed and anxious. Yet another reason to STOP worrying. I snacked on a kiwi, banana, and apple while outside studying and then came back home for some more school work on my porch. P1010476P1010475

  Interesting facts about stress :

  • chronic headaches are caused by an interaction of stress factors, such as environmental pressures or general depression, anger, anxiety and physiological factors such as abnormal activity of the neurotransmitter serotonin or muscle weakness
  • 23 million people in the U.S. suffer from migraines which is a type of chronic headache
  • Women are at least twice as likely as men to develop stress disorders
  • Research shows that some of the characteristics in Type A individuals such as hostility and time urgency are very likely related to heart disease

The development of stress reducing therapies and programs are on the rise. More and more research is demonstrating the severe impact of stress and how it is damaging individuals mentally, physically, physiologically, and environmentally.

I will keep you posted on dinner and hopefully find time to work on this blog in between Sybil and Heating pad action.
