First can I just tell you that you are all the best!!! Thank you so much for all your kind words yesterday! I feel so fortunate to be part of such a wonderful community!
Second I did something a little crazy this morning…
I signed up for another half marathon two weeks before the NJ Half! I originally wasn’t going to sign up for the More / Fitness Half because I am trying to save money and it’s $80.00 but a couple of my friends are doing it; it’s in Central Park and this will be my third year running it so I decided why not?
I quickly realized I would have to come up a training plan asap because the More / Fitness Half Marathon was only 12 weeks away.
After doing some research on incorporating running with CrossFit I determined I would only need to run 2 days a week (1 day being a long run) in order to properly train. Since CrossFit incorporates a lot of cross training I should be fully prepared for both halves by following the below training plan.
Without further adieu..
Of course this is a preliminary schedule; if I feel like my legs are tired and I can’t do CrossFit 4 days a week I will certainly cut back. I will defiantly listen to my body!

SKILL: Kipping Pull-ups. My coach Megan made a comment that my kipping was getting so much better and she could tell I have been practicing! Yay!
METCON: 6 Rounds of:
12 Toes to Bar
8 Supine Ring Rows
4 Hang Power Clean (65lbs) (Went up 10 pounds from the last time)
Finished in 8 Minutes 14 Seconds
I did the T2B on the floor; so my time was pretty fast compared to the rest of the class. I also went up 10 pounds form the last time I did Hang Power Cleans.
I would love to give NYC Fit Girl a makeover but I am lost. Unfortunately I don’t have the money to spend hundreds of dollars on a designer so I would like to try and do it all myself. Does anyone know of any resources that can help me with a new header?
