Remember how nervous I was about this half marathon (see previous post)? Well, turns out my hard work and nerves paid off!
I know you’re just DYING to know all 13 splits from my half marathon yesterday, so I will enlighten you with these crucial and interesting pieces of information:
That’s an average of 6:52 min/mile pace! 3rd overall female! Which is even more exciting because during the race, I thought I was 4th and after looking at the posted results online, I realized I was indeed top 3! Aaaaand both my roommate and I used GPS during the race, and we both registered the race as 13.2 miles. Double whammy of happiness!
However, what made the day even more exciting was the pre-race experience. I was with three of the funniest ladies I know: Maxann, Emily, and Laurie…and we could not have been more excited, goofy, loud, or pumped:
