Sites I Use to Track Workouts

Posted Oct 12 2010 7:57am

I have two favorite sites that I use to track my workouts. I used to just use pen and paper, but that’s a little out-dated. : )

The first one is MapMyRun.com . This one is great to map runs or rides, especially if you don’t have a GPS or a computer on your bike (mine busted).  Also nice when you’re out of town and you go running but you don’t know the mileage. There’s also an iPhone app for this site.

This was yesterday’s ride. 20.3 miles.

I also love MapMyRun because it can track elevation changes. From yesterday’s ride.

The other site I use to log the workouts is BeginnerTriathlete.com . Useful to just log what you did. You can see graphs of your last week, last month, or last year. Keeps track of your distance, time, etc. Useful to see progress. This graph shows my weekly distance from the last few months, by sport.

Just thought you’d like to know. I find these sites useful, you might also. I know there’s tons of other sites out there too so find ones you like.
