This morning I was lucky enough to spend four hours shopping with my son. The Elf for Health weekend challenge is to go through your closet and donate a bag of clothes to Goodwill. I think I got confused. I spent two hours in Goodwill and bought a blouse and a belt. This means I was short on what I needed wanted so I'll have to go to the Goodwill by work this week.

In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat
Cook shrimp for 4 minutes or until pink
Add parsley, garlic, lemon juice, broth, salt and pepper
Add remaining butter
In a small bowl whisk flour into the remaining chicken broth until it forms a rue
Slowly stir in rue once butter is melted
Cook until bubbly and thick
Add in broccoli
Serve over fettuccine
You must head over to Dinosaur Superhero Mommy and see why we think this is so funny. Hint...it involves that Elf on the Shelf.
My favorite pin today involves fashion. It must have been all that thrift store shopping I did today.
