Happy New Year everyone!!! I hope you’re having great time celebrating with your loved ones. I didn’t celebrate last night but I did spend good time with my loved ones.
Everyone is writing a recap and/or 2010 resolution post. I don’t have clear new resolutions in mind because I am not good at planning, I’m more living in the moment and completing short term goals kind of person. But one thing I do want to do is BE PRESENT, MORE STRESS TOLERANT and do my best to make my loved ones HAPPY!
Okay. I have a lot of show you in this post, so let’s start!
Look how Shanghai is decorated for the new year!

I did some girly shopping
Hair pin:

Earrings:

Necklace

All these bought in <2 hours! I am soooo happy with my purchases! They’re sooo pretty and chic!
As you can see, GLOWING resolution continued!
Next, a local market that offered local food from different part of China.
Warning: animals pictures ahead!

smoked pork, fish and wild rabbit

seasoned fried dough twist

salty duck, salty chicken, salty fish and sausages

chinese pastry (made with sticky rice)

pickles

beef jerky

another variety of chinese pastry, filled with pork, veggies and bean paste

chinese red dates

roasted chestnut

China is actually the union of 56 nations, each of them with its own language (dialect), culture and cuisine. That is why chinese food has so many varieties. I love trying different style of food in one place. It’s like the heaven of any foodie!
But to be a real foodie in China, you must be open to try new things (pig feet, pig nose, pig ears, rabbit, etc) and unblock your judgement
Q: What’s the wildest food you’ve ever tried?
