Not that I got to enjoy it much during work– but I did keep my sliding glass doors open for most of the day! I love breathing in fresh air (well, questionably fresh…) as often as possible. I think it makes me feel better!
After a day of traveling, getting back on track is always a little hectic for me. First of all, my fridge was empty! Thank goodness Austin had some ripe bananas sitting on the counter for his smoothies! I enjoyed one this morning, since green juice wasn’t an option yet:
Fact: Peeling a banana is a sure-fire way to get Yasha in the room! She LOVES them!! I love seeing her smiling face in the background.
After work, I had the chance to visit the grocery store and re-stock:
I love having a produce drawer FILLED TO THE BRIM with greens! (though I wish I had a bigger fridge, so I didn’t have to shop so often! I’m counting down the days until our lease is up, and we can mooooove!) At Whole Foods, I found lovely bunches of fresh dill, parsley, kale, and romaine–> so I’m seeing a BIG green juice in my near future!
I’m also seeing some fresh sprouts in my future, thanks to this:My very own Sprouting Trays! I’ve been curious about sprouting for a while now, but didn’t know where to start. I’ve heard that people have had varied success with using the jar method, but this little set seems fool-proof!(perfect for someone like me!) It just arrived in the mail this afternoon, so I’ll let you guys know how my first batch goes– which should be done in a matter of 3 days! I’m a pretty impatient person, so I love that I don’t have to wait too long to enjoy the results.
Any fun plans for this Tuesday evening? We love watching The Good Wife on Tuesday nights, but since it’s not on until 10pm here (curse you, Pacific time!!)… we’re going to go to a movie first! We’re seeing Red Riding Hood . Anyone seen it yet?
Speaking of… I better get ready! Hope you’re all having a fabulous day!
