Well, today’s Tuesday and I’m already exhausted from this week.
Yesterday after working all day I went to the intermediate yoga class. Now, first of all, I started my day at 6 am so I was pretty tired by the 6 pm class. I came home after work, took a 30 minute power nap (something I never do..I hate how I feel after waking up from a nap) and got ready to go to class. I didn’t want to go at all. I wanted to stay at home, sleep, eat and sleep some more. However, I know for a fact every time I don’t want to go to the gym and still go, I feel 100x better than I did when I started. It’s really true, you never regret a workout. I will have to remind myself of this again on Friday, but that’s alright.
With that said, this intermediate yoga class is awesome. I am challenged every single class I go. It’s an amazing feeling to know I worked as hard as I possibly could, and to know I’m improving with every class I attend.
Now that my schedule is a little less crazy I’m able to attend my favorite classes more often, which I’m obviously excited for.
Today I didn’t go to the gym because I’m still super sore from yesterday so I thought I’d count this as a rest day. Rest days are just as important as gym days, and I knew it was my day to chill out.
I was going to post my weekly meal plan/exercise routine but to be honest…I’m just not feeling it right now. My meals have been all over the place, a lot of leftovers and “winging it” dinners so I think it’s best not to force myself to stick to a plan. I took pictures of my meals today for WIAW and was thinking about what I wanted to have for dinner and really, all I want is pizza. So that’s what I’ll have.
I have a lot of projects I am currently working on, so my brain’s on overload. I’ll be back tomorrow with a less scatterbrained post, I promise. Until then,
