Running in style

Posted Aug 17 2011 12:15pm

REMINDER: TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO ENTER TO WIN CEP COMPRESSION SOCKS! Trust me, they are awesome & you want to win them!!

DSC09920 The little man & I decided to go out for a run in style today. He grabbed some clothes that he wanted to wear & handed them to me to put on him. It was a little too cold for him to just wear a muscle shirt & shorts, so I put it over his jammies. Talk about a good lookin’ little stud!

Me on the other hand, I decided to wear my super fast compression sleeves. Monday’s run was a little slow, so I opted to speed it up with my pinksters. Let’s just say it FELT like I was booking it…even though I went the same speed as Monday. And If you look closely, I’m also sporting gear from two different schools - OSU (Oregon State University – alma matter, the shorts) & BYU (Brigham Young University, t-shirt…and yes, unfortunately I went there also). Throw on the funky bondiband & I’m set. Too bad my turquoise shorts & yellow shirt were dirty. I would have looked AWESOME.

After the run I decided to do some other workouts. I haven’t done ANYTHING besides run in a long time…I used to be so good at coming up with huge lifting routines. But lately my lifting has been limited to my 23 lb kiddo!

I did some lunges (2 sets of 10) DSC09921 some push-ups (2 sets of 10) DSC09924 and wall sits (2 sets of 1 minute) DSC09927

I was beat. I’m still so out of shape (according to me) but I’ll get back to were I was…some day!
