Pin It Try it out and let me know what you think :) I burned 255 calories doing it so it was a great workout for a short period of time! I also did the abs portion of the boot-camp inspired workout I found on Cait's blog! I definitely felt the burn in the abs and according to my HR monitor it burned an awesome 92 calories in 10 minutes. Score. Emmie was super stoked to go to the gym this morning too... Haha maybe not ... actually she was just fighting the Sandman and fell asleep not 5 minutes later for her morning nap. Winning. Lunch Buffalo Chicken Salad: I grilled a bunch of chicken breasts on Sunday to use this week so I just chopped one up and reheated it then tossed it in 1 tbsp of buffalo sauce. Served with romaine lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and some parmesan cheese. Plus a couple spritzes of ranch :) Snack Pomegranate Chobani with some granola and chia seeds. We are having friends over tonight for Game Night!! Super excited ... it's a weekly tradition of ours here at For Leonard Wood :) Tomorrow Emmie is 3 months!! Eek! Where did time go? Breakfast
Breakfast burrito: 1 egg+2 egg whites scrambled with ham, cheese, and spinach on a whole wheat tortilla. A grapefruit on the side!
Work-Out
I was inspired by the January issue of Shape Magazine and decided to adapt the row workout they put in it. Their speeds were honestly a little hard for me so I slowed my stroke a little bit and it turned into an awesome workout! I usually only use the rower as a warm-up before CrossFit so this was my first full row workout.
