Tonight I wanted to make something to put on the delicious whole wheat buns I made earlier today. My belly is still grumbly and I’m feeling weak and feverish, so this meal is primarily only going to be eaten by the BMB.
I had a pound of ground turkey frozen in the freezer, so turkey burgers it was. Specifically, rosemary quinoa turkey burgers. You’ll need:
1 pound ground turkey 2 tbsp rosemary 1/2 cup quinoa (1 cup water bring to boil for 10 min til absorbed) 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp Garlic Gold 2 tbsp plain Chobani s&p
First cook your quinoa by boiling it in 1 cup of water covered for 10 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed.
Then combine all other ingredients, plus the cooked quinoa, in the food processor.
Once mixed form into patties. I wrapped all of mine in saran wrap and put all but two in freezer bags to be frozen for later use.
On the side I prepared roasted rosemary garlic potatoes.
Simply chop potatoes and coat in a mixture of olive oil, rosemary, and garlic (I used Garlic Gold, obviously).
Bake the potatoes at 475 for 30 minutes. We are out of propane for the grill, so I had to use the George Forman. I grilled the turkey burger at 400 degrees for approximately 4 minutes on each side.
I topped the burger with some cheddar cheese and stuck the buns in to be toasted.

Mr. BMB, dinner is served.
G’night.
