This summer the Husband and I had to put a hold on Date Night! BOO, but we are bringing it BACK!
We have been married for over four years and since the beginning we have made date night a priority. When we got married I told my Husband that we still had to act as though we are dating!! Dating is fun, why not carry it through marriage?!
Fall is around the corner, so I thought I would share some great romantic fall date night ideas, because love is in the air! Hey it might be corney, but love is a beautiful thing.
1. Go to a pumpkin patch
Hay rides are always great ways to snuggle
2. Rake leaves and then fall into them
Be a kid again you know it will be fun!
3. Go hiking and enjoy the beautiful colors
Hiking together is a great way to exercise your heart physically and emotionally. This will also help you to relive stress and just find some pure relaxation together.
4. Try camping
The days are warm enough to enjoy, but the evenings are cool enough to enjoy snuggling before the fire! We are going in two weeks!
5. The state or county fair
School has begun and so had the Fair! Share some cotten candy
6. Fall foliage tour
Take a drive in the country and admire the changing season.
7. Snuggle in front of the fireplace
Build a fire, turn down the lights, make cocoa, and play romantic music. Sometimes the simple quiet times are the most romantic.
8. Make an Apple Pie together
Grab your aprons and baking gloves and make an apple pie from scratch . Working together in the kitchen to make something sweet is always a winner!
9. Carve a pumpkin
We love to do this every year together, it brings us back to our childhood and we always have so much fun!
10. Corn Maze
A series of trails are cut into cornfields in the form of a maze. You challenge your brain and your bodies finding your way out. Check out the internet for a corn maze near you.
