Remote Patient Monitoring for Chronic Disease Management

Posted Oct 22 2008 9:31pm

I will soon going to take on the topic of remote patient monitoring (RPM) devices to help individuals and caregivers more effectively and efficiently manage their chronic diseases and I'd like to hear what you think about this fascinating technology.  You can visit two prior posts on RPM and empowering consumers or an article in the November issue of Hospitals and Health Networks titled " The Wow - and the Now" to see some of the specific devices that are hitting the market.

Specifically, I want to know what you think the impact of these devices will be and whether you see yourself relying on them for your own care, or for aging family members.  Just leave a comment, or send me an email!
