This week’s challenge is to eat only 100% Whole Grains Goal: To only consume grains that are 100% whole wheat Challenges: Have you ever gone into your grocery store and read the back of your bead? I never did until I started following 100daysofrealfood.com . I was so shocked to see how much stuff is pumped into bread. That could make following this 100% whole grain challenge very difficult but thankfully after reading 100daysofrealfood and learning that if she isn’t making her own bread she purchases it from The Great Harvest Bread Company and after some research, I found a location in The Woodlands. What I’m excited about:I excited that we finally jumped on this bandwagon. The Woodlands isn’t as close as we’d like it to be so while we have purchased this bread before, the habit didn’t stick but thankfully we were already headed out to my parent’s house this weekend and they are much closer than we are so we made the drive. We actually ended up purchasing two loafs of bread and froze one of them. Hopefully, this will keep us motivated.
While we were there we also grabbed a loaf of their rosemary garlic bread. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! Scott and I devoured half of it and froze the other half for later.
I was also putting dishes away this weekend caught this little girl exploring the cabinets. She also has some weird fixation with the dishwasher and loves trying to crawl inside of it.
