Animal Rescue Site . I added some lemon juice courtesy of a tip from Jackie Warner of Thintervention . For lunch, I wanted a fresh salad of mixed greens, dried cranberries, walnuts, feta and baby carrots topped off with lemon poppy seed dressing. I had a sweet potato on the side with a pinch of brown sugar. I can eat those suckers minus the brown sugar though! So good! I don't consider myself a cook, nor have I enjoyed cooking in the past. However, when provided with simple, healthy recipes, I don't feel so intimidated. I'm super excited to try out my newly purchased book: Coop and I were on our own this weekend because Spencer was recruiting, so we spent the rest of the day planted to a comfy chair...which he proceeded to push me out of! |

I didn't hold a steady pace, partly because Coop had to "stop and smell the roses" so 9:20 was our respectable average. My legs feel really good post-marathon, and I am thinking about my next race. Not sure when/where, but I know I want to run a half marathon.
