Pump the brakes. My mom, Norak as she is affectionately known, is an advocate workout enthusiast. She gets up every morning and does her workout DVD and walks in the evening. Active, sassy pants. I thought I had achieved a major victory getting her to agree to do the 5K. Last weekend when we legitimately discussed signing her up she said, “I want to try the half.” My jaw hit the floor. She is a bit afraid of making sure she can do it in the allotted sub 3:30 time, but I have total faith. Meghan and I are working on a training plan for her:) It’s such an amazing deal for me. She has yet to see me race and I think that once she participates she will be much more likely to come support me. I am SO proud of her for taking this step. Applause!! Confetti!! If I wasn’t busy this weekend, I think I would have strongly considered another race. Before you roll your eyes, get a load of this
Chick-Fil-A Challenge The prize: The top male and top female finisher will receive free Chick-fil-A for a year. How’s that fun and for the good cause of Multiple Sclerosis? I hope every has a freaky fabulous Halloween weekend! Brroohaaa. Has anyone run with friends or family? |

A run is a wish your heart makes....
OK you patient peeps. This might be super anti-climatic, but I think it’s going to be gangbusters. I am not sure how this all came about but I have managed to sign my mother and I up for the Disney Princess Half Marathon in February. I also managed to get Meghan, her mom and sister on board the princess parade. We are going to be running this thing until the fairy dust falls off!
