I'm going to have to be quick myself with this entry - the England match is on!
I spotted this recipe on Youtube the other day and made a batch of these bars yesterday. They are soo quick to do and I had one after my jog today and they are super tasty. So, I thought I'd share the video with you guys
This recipe is very much shove it in a bowl and see what happens - which I like, you can really costiumise it. I used about a cupful of regular crunchy peanut butter and a few blobs of natural peanut butter (I won't be repurchasing regular peanut butter anymore so am trying to use it up before switching permantly to the natural stuff) I then used a tiny squirt of golden syrup (which I'll probably skip next time, not sure it's necessary) and about a cupful of honey. I don't have a microwave so heated that and the peanut butter on the hob.
My add-ins were oats, a bit of wheat bran, raisins, sesame seeds and linseeds. I kept adding stuff until the mixture begin to stiffen up and hold together. Then I stuck it on the wax paper, shaped it into a square and popped it into the fridge before letting it cool and cutting it in to bars. I had a bar cold out of the fridge for breakfast today - sooo good. Perfect after jog re-fueling! :)
