Pumps, Workout Pants, and Pancakes

Hi guys!

This will probably be my last post until Tuesday as I’m working tomorrow and Monday. Today’s will be kinda random (like usual!)

Lets see.. well for one thing, I’ve been enjoying some yummy foods lately- sponge or pound cake is a delicious post workout carb!!

Oh, and I got new workout capri/pants.. I always wanted some that hit below the knee like this:

And my workouts are kicking my butt! It’s awesome because although I’m focusing on gaining weight (muscle), people have been asking if I’ve lost weight! Which is crazy but my arms and legs are looking slightly more lean with more definition. My abs not so much- but it’s all good because pretty soon I’ll have a 6 pack ;) I can tell my abs have gotten more muscular too- you just can’t fully see it yet.

Oh, and I have a new recipe for you all. I was experimenting with some of my other pancake recipes and wanted to make a new low carb version. I came up with Soy Protein Pancakes:

Depending on your protein powder: Whole batch 162 calories, 17 grams protein, 7 net carbs, 5 grams fat

**Note: Do not taste the batter. The batter tastes pretty icky but once it cooks they taste super good!


  • 1/2 cup liquid egg whites
  • 9 grams Tropical Traditions Coconut Flour
  • 12 grams protein powder (a blend works best)
  • 10 grams soy flour
  • 1 packet stevia
  • Big pinch baking powder and cinnamon


  • Preheat skillet to medium high heat.
  • Blend all ingredients together. If your batter is super thick, add a bit of water to thin.
  • Cook like any other pancake!
