The other day when I was visiting my oldest sis, my brother-in-law made some yummy pumpkin pancakes and I wanted to try making them now that I’m home.
If you are a fan of Thanksgiving, then these pancakes are a score. They are very filling and pretty tasty.
I used THIS recipe for the pancakes and THIS recipe for the “syrup”. It’s pretty much how you make cream cheese frosting, but with a lot more milk to make it the consistency of syrup. I would suggest less powdered sugar and more cream cheese though.
Ever had “pumpkin roll” for Thanksgiving? I don’t know if that is the official name, but that is what my fam calls it. It’s basically a pumpkin cake like cinnamon roll with cream cheese instead of the cinnamon and sugar filling. Love it. These pancakes and syrup have a similar taste, but only enough to make me REALLY want pumpkin roll right now!!
