Pull Up Competition and Wheat Free Pancakes

Posted Feb 05 2011 12:48pm

Hi guys!

So I’ve got some news for you.. I’m entering myself in a wide grip pull up competition!! Wide Grip overhand pull ups are the hardest that there are- and the main rules are that it has to be from a deadhang, further than shoulder width, and overhand grip. (Which is no prob for me because that’s what I always do- but they are tough!) This morning I went to the gym and did 10- I’m hoping I can get a couple more pretty soon! I’ll be updating you all with videos and such..wish me luck!!

Oh, and it’s time to announce the winner of the Herb Giveaway. The winner is Lindsay who said, “My favorite home remedy would have to be ginger tea. I peel a knob of ginger and let it steep in hot water with lemon and cayenne pepper. It always helps my stomach feel better! I would love to try the Tired Blood Tea (my circulation is awful, and it’s especially painful in the winter) and the Sleep Tea. Thank you, April!”

Congrats! Please email your shipping info to foodsofapril@yahoo.com.

And lastly I have a new Protein Pancake recipe for you today. I’ll call these Wheat Free Protein Pancakes.
