Pro Steeplechase runner shares her top 4 circuit training exercises

You know the basic tenants of getting fit -- cardio combined with healthy eating. When creating the perfect workout plan, it's easy to think of the exercises that really get up the heart rate and make you feel like you're doing something, whether that be running, biking, swimming, playing soccer; anything that's high on movement and intensity. But, there's more to it than that. In my world as a track and field runner (my specialty is the 3000-meter steeplechase and I run for New Balance) actual running takes up only a small portion of my training plan.
