Pop the Champagne!

Posted May 25 2011 2:39pm
This weekend marked the close of the Amgen Tour of California and the Giro d’Italia continues its 21 stages Europe. In honor of the wins, the losses (and in remembrance ), the blood, sweat and tears it seems only fitting that the riders appropriate celebrate their mental and physical feats. Cycling is a male-centric sport at that level, in my humble opinion, because only men are crazy enough to go to such lengths to torture their bodies! A century ride is enough of a challenge for these two legs. But I’m more than happy to pop a cork, pour a drink and raise a toast to the winners.

This weekend the playlist included beats from my new secret music source (shhh… not a secret any longer) and a profile from the Amgen tour. Pick a profile – you have 8 to choose from at the Amgen tour , 21 to choose from with the Giro and 21 more to select with the upcoming Tour de France . That’s 50 possible combinations and we haven’t even added the music yet! All you teachers who use the same music and moves – take note – be creative and pull the outside in with your indoor cycling classes. I even defer to cheesy arts and crafts to spice things up for pedaling to the beat of the great indoors.

If you want the music and/or profiles, you’re going to have to leave some LOVE below! Yes, it’s a tease and a ploy to elicit interaction!
