equinox

So–timing is clearly not my forte lately. My excuse for not getting this up sooner is that I took Sunday to get out of the city for a day, which was awesome–more on that later.

Anyway, autumn has arrived, both technically and literally. It’s been very brisk around here for the past week or so, and it was freezing in the Berkshires on Sunday (where my roommate and I spent the day).

I’m always sad to see summer go–I got particularly depressed the other day when I thought about the fact that the next time we hit 80 degrees could be in 7 months–but fall is my season. Maybe it’s the Scorpio in me, but I always feel in my element and at my most creative in the fall.

I have a playlist for you, as is the seasonal custom. I’ve gotten in the habit of listening to records straight through, so it’s kind of weird for me to mix things up. But it’s all so good–very chill, very acoustic. Obviously starting and ending with Volcano Choir. If nothing else, listen to that last song–it’s the essence of the season. Seriously.
