Peanut Butter Protein Balls

Hi hi! Hope you all are having a beautiful Wednesday.

I just spent my morning at the dentist (blah) and now I’m back and ready to get to work.

Today’s post is going to feature a recipe I’ve been wanting to try for a while.

I’ve seen this recipe floating the around the internet world for a few months now and I’ve finally had the time to try it out last night.

These have also been called “energy” balls because the ingredients used are supposed to give you long lasting energy.

Peanut Butter Protein Balls

1/2 cup all natural peanut butter

1/2 oatmeal

handful of raisins or cranberries

1 scoop of protein powder

honey or agave nectar (used to hold everything together)

Directions

Melt the peanut butter in the microwave for about 30 sec. until soft

Stir in oatmeal, raisins, protein and honey until well mixed

Let cool in the refrigerator for 10 mins or so

Once cool, use the mixture to create the small peanut butter protein balls!

Eat and enjoy :)

Side note: Mine seemed to be a little on the dry side..so if you try making these, use a little more honey or agave than you think you need!
