Tonight I was greeted by a full mailbox, a doorman singing Deck the Halls, and our building’s Christmas tree fully decorated!
I thought it was hilarious that my blogger buddy, Leslie , also chose the words Joy & Love on her Christmas card. How cute is her family!! I want a Jackson of my own so badly.
Little things like this help me remember that I only have 3 more work days until a glorious 13 day vacation! Our office even has off Monday, January 3rd in honor of the New Year holiday! If you live in NYC and also have this day off please let me know as Bo works since the market is open.
So, what do you put on your holiday cards? I honestly didn’t even realize I forgot to say Merry Christmas until my parents pointed it out when he received the card.I think, unfortunately, the politically correct nature of NYC and my job have influenced me a bit too much! Now I am sad that our card doesn’t say Merry Christmas!
For now, I’m wishing each of my readers PEACE JOY & LOVE during this holiday season.
I’m off to change into comfortable clothes and relax after another long day. Unfortunately, my most substantial meal today was 1/2 a bag of Moose Munch and 2 cookies. Not exactly the snack or meal of champions.
