Mine started out with a fresh perspective. I woke up at 6:30 which feels like 10:00 when you’ve been waking up every morning at 4:00 with a puppy! It was so nice to get a few extra hours of sleep and it was much needed!
I made plans to meet my friend Gretchen at the gym for some Body Attack. It was a really tough class and I felt myself struggling through it. Typically when the instructor pieces together the songs – it can be hard because they might pick the hardest ones from all different releases. Regardless, I was covered in sweat and worked hard.
I also spent time with Bailey.
David and I got some good quality time in with her today and she is one tired puppy! I can’t wait until she gets bigger and I get to take her on runs with me!
We went for a car ride, and she still isn’t sure about it.
I’m sure with time she’ll really start to enjoy riding in the car! But for now – I think she’s afraid we’re taking her somewhere bad!
While David was at work I spent the afternoon shopping around. I’d been looking for some tan boots but the ones I found were either too expensive or not really what I was looking for. But, I think I found a winner! I got these at Target…
The verdict is still out. Can you wear tan boots with black shirts? I see it all the time but I am stuck in that “don’t wear black and brown together” era. I guess they really aren’t brown, though.
I am feeling pretty tired after this week! Here is how my workouts looked:
Sunday – Rest
Monday – Body Attack
Tuesday – Body Pump
Wednesday – Rest
Thursday – Body Pump
Friday – 36 minutes of intervals on the treadmill, followed by 3 sets of (30 jumping jacks, 20 mountain climbers and 10 burpees) <— this killed!
Saturday – Body Attack
Tomorrow I’m doing Body Pump and plan to work out every day until we leave for our Thanksgiving travels. The holidays are upon us – and I’m thrilled!
I made pancakes for dinner. Whole Wheat, low calorie – delicious pancakes. I figure that life is short and we all should make pancakes for dinner.
